1 kg potatoes 200 ml milk 3 teaspoons butter grated cheese (optional)
Peel the potatoes and cut them to small pieces. The smaller, the faster to cook. Put them in a pot and cover with water. Bring to boil and cook until potatoes are soft. Drain and mash with a fork. Warm up milk, but don't let it boil. Still on the fire, add butter and mashed potatoes, and optionally grated cheese, and stir until uniform. Keep stirring on the fire to thicken as you like.
